Library Catalog The online catalog is available to search for books owned by the Houston library as well as holdings of all the DeVry libraries.

Access to thousands of electronics books is available from netLibrary on a wide variety of topics. You can use the search function free of charge, however, checkout of e-books requires setting up an account. Access through D number.

Safari is an electronic reference library for programmers and IT professionals. Search here for electronic versions of a broad range of technical books on such topics as Programming, Certification, Networking, E-commerce, Graphics, Hardware, and more. Access through D number.

Hoover's
Hoover's online database offers comprehensive coverage of over 12 million public, private and non-US companies and over 300 industries. The information is compiled from thousands of sources including Dun & Bradstreet, Mergent, magazines, newspapers, and industry journals. Information can be used to prospect for new business, prepare for presentations, research vendors, suppliers, partners, investments, and more. Access through D number.

Plunkett Research provides industry sector analysis and research, industry trends and industry statistics.

ReferenceUSA: Business and Residential Databases Use for Houston Campus and the Houston, San Antonio, Austin Centers.
ReferenceUSA is a business and marketing database which shares essential data on over 14 million US and Canadian businesses as well as on 131 million US and Canadian residents. Consumer Health Complete
Consumer Health Complete (CHC) is EBSCO's interface designed for the everyday consumer of health care information. CHC provides convenient access to easily understandable health and medical information. Consumers can search and browse within medical encyclopedias, popular reference books, and magazine articles. Access through D Number.

International Standards and Documentation forTechnology and Computer Information

Database was created by Lloyd Wedes, MLS. Director of Library Services at DeVry University Library, Houston. Funding for this individual project was made possible through The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The database is primarily in English with some German and French. Credo is a collection of 250+ high quality, constantly updated reference books, dictionaries, encyclopedias and atlases.

Encyclopedia Britannica Online
With even more articles than the 32-volume print set (also in our Library), Britannica Online includes over 200,000 Web links from Britannica articles plus online access to journals and magazines. Also provided is Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary & Thesaurus, and updated world atlas, and thousands of video clips. Access through D Number.

Oxford Art Dictionary
Oxford Art Online comprises access to the more than 23,000 subject entries, 21,000 biographies, 500,000 bibliographic citations, 40,000 image links and 5,000 images contained within Grove Art Online. Access through D Number.
