Alumni Services

A new and enhanced model of delivering career services to DeVry alumni was implemented effective July 1, 2003. This new model centralizes the delivery of services and provides a platform for service consistency throughout the entire DeVry University system. Some of the highlights include:

• National Job Lead Database - All Alumni job leads developed by the local campus will be sent to your Alumni Career Counselor and posted to the National database. Corporations will now have the ability to post positions nationwide and interact directly with the candidates based on skill level, experience, and degree attainment.
• The Career Services Web Site has been established to provide you with resources and tools to help you in your job search. The site contains information on self-assessment, resumes, cover letters and interviewing techniques. In addition, the web site also provides corporate links and access to the National Job Lead Database (which contains National and local job leads).
• Career Counseling - You have access to your Alumni Career Counselor, John Karras, via phone and email. John can provide you with career guidance and direction. In addition, John will assist with resume development, interviewing advice, and strategic career planning.
